The Heritage Fund is a Property Endowment established solely for the purpose of earning income to be used in the preservation of the historic church property.
Tabernacle United Methodist Church organized in 1789 is one of the oldest congregations in Methodism. The original structure was demolished by 1830, and the present building was erected.
In order to ensure the continued presence of Tabernacle United Methodist Church for the present and future generations of our members, friends and the community, the church has fundraising efforts and other tax deductible gift opportunities in place to help achieve this goal.
One of our fundraising efforts is the Heritage Brick Garden Campaign. Our thanks go out to the many volunteers that have worked so hard to make this possible. Our Tabernacle family is truly blessed with many talented and willing servants.
Bricks can be purchased and dedicated "in honor" or "in memory of" for $75.00. You may put verses or other [approved] quotes on bricks too! Order forms may be found in the Narthex and a sample brick is in the church office. Order as many as you like and become a part of Tabernacle history.
Please contact the church office for more information on the Heritage Garden and other available gift giving opportunities.
