 In John
17:18, Jesus said “As you sent me into the world, I have sent them
into the world.” This
statement, along with the Great Commission from Matthew 28:18 gives us
clear direction that we, as Christians, should be in the world,
spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ.
The church that is active in missions is truly continuing the
work of Jesus Christ. |

We currently have several mission programs in place; among them sponsorship of a child (Mariama Wakili) through World Vision, Operation Christmas Child, Members in Mission (see below) and the 30 Hour Famine (through the youth). However, we can ALWAYS do more! For current Mission Events, please see the Announcements. |

Members in Mission Our church is happy to support those members who are stepping out into the mission field. We have funds set aside to assist any member who is interested in making a mission trip. Assistance is available to any church member and the trip must be sponsored by a Christian organization. For more information or an application, please see Ellen Heim or call her at 651-9469. |
